It’s a beautiful Wednesday morning and it’s hard to believe that in just one week I have gone from a niggling thought at the back of Mary’s mind to a reality. I now stand as a Little Free Library. We have gotten a few preliminary donations to have books for adults and kids to come borrow. Anyone in Strongsville is welcome to come look at what we have so far.

We are looking forward to seeing people coming to visit to find new treasures to read. I will not be fulfilling my purpose until people start to visit and pick out treasures.
I don’t have an official number yet. I am still what amounts to a renegade library but I will be officially registered soon and my number will be proudly displayed. I will, then, show up on the official map and I will welcome what visitors may come.
Mary is awaiting notice that more books are ready to be picked up so we can have an increased selection. For now, she has some put back in reserve for when people start coming to take a book, leave a book, or just visit.
I invite anyone to come visit my little world. You are welcome here. Stop and find something that can fill your day with peace… a place where you can escape the insanity that is the world into the pages of another world of your imagination.
“Our society is much more interested in information than wonder, in noise rather than silence…And I feel that we need a lot more wonder and a lot more silence in our lives”
